Imagine Dragons and Lorde lead the nominations with 12 of the 40 award categories with Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis following close behind with 11, 10 and 8 noms respectively.
“I’ve heard everything we’ve done and I’m as proud of it, or prouder of anything we did on the first album, and she is sounding even better than ever,” Tedder said.
“We’ve always been walking that fine line and dancing between John Mayer and Fall Out Boy,” Slade said.
Bentley and rock band OneRepublic are teaming up for the next edition of CMT Crossroads, set to air in mid-March.
“Once I heard the production and the direction that we went with on this song, it inspired me and everyone on my team of this new sound.”
Supporting their latest release, ‘Native,’ the band will spend the summer on the road with The Script.

“That’s kind of a good test for bands,” Tedder explained. “If you can get guys in their early twenties to believe in something, and to be like, ‘Yeah, I’d get that or I’d go to see that’…it’s not lame.”
