CBS News: 50 Years Later – THE BEATLES at the Ed Sullivan Theater resented presented by Motown, The Musical

Tune in this Sunday at 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT for the first of a series of events from CBS News. Hosted by CBS News’ Anthony Mason, 50 Years Later THE BEATLES will highlight rare footage from CBS News’ archives of the Beatles’ first three days in New York City and their famous appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show on February 9, 1964. The live symposium will feature Nile Rogers, former Rolling Stones manager and Beatles publicity assistant Andrew Loog Oldham, Mick Jones of Foreigner, photographer (and George Harrison’s ex-wife) Pattie Boyd, and Julie Taymor, director of the feature film based on Beatles songs, Across The Universe and Tad Kubler from The Hold Steady.
