Axl Rose to Donald Trump: ‘Do you Ever Stop Whining?’

By Jon Wiederhorn

For the second time in a week, Guns N’ Roses vocalist Axl Rose has taken to Twitter to criticize Donald Trump for his actions since being elected to be the next president of the United States.

In response to Trump’s tweets attacking the cast of Hamilton and asking for an apology for comments they made from the stage to vice president-elect Mike Pence over the weekend, Rose wrote, “Do u ever stop whining? An apology? Seriously?! U won, this is the job, get on with it or get out of the kitchen.”

Pence was attending ‘Hamilton’ with his family and at the end of the show the cast addressed him directly: “We, sir — we — are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights,” said actor Brandon Victor Dixon. “We truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us.”

Reacting to the comment, Trump tweeted, “The cast and producers of Hamilton, which I hear is highly overrated, should immediately apologize to Mike Pence for their terrible behavior.”

Last week, Rose took aim at Trump for appointing Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions as his Attorney General. “Good people don’t listen to, acknowledge, nominate or elect people like Senator Jeff Sessions,” Rose wrote.

It seems unlikely that Guns N’ Roses will be invited to play the president-elect’s inauguration on January 20, 2017.
