Vince Neil will not perform at Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration on Jan. 20, despite initial reports to the contrary.
In an interview with Billboard, the former Mötley Crüe frontman said he was asked months ago and has already been cleared by the Secret Service.
What he’ll play or who else is on the bill he’s not sure of. “I don’t know how long I have to play. I don’t know if the Republican Party says which [songs] to play and what not to do,” he told the publication. “It’s a little ways out. I’ll have more information as time goes on.”
However, Neil told TMZ he was uninvited to the inauguration and will not be perform. The singer says once Donald Trump won, the invitation was rescinded.
