Michael J. Fox Joins Dave Matthews to Cover Bob Dylan

The stars aligned in New York to raise money for Parkinson's research.

“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s: An Evening of Comedy & Music to Benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation” has a very long name and a very worthy cause, as well as a star-studded lineup.

During last weekend’s New York City benefit, Fox joined the Dave Matthews Band to perform the Bob Dylan classic “All Along the Watchtower.” The Family Ties and Spin City actor has dedicated his life to finding a cure for Parkinson’s, which he has lived with since 1991.

The live cover performance comes shortly after Bob Dylan’s Nobel Prize win for literature, and “All Along the Watchtower” remains one of his most-covered ballads. Watch Alex P. Keaton and Dave Matthews take a spin:
