Foo Fighters Announce First Concert Since Hiatus

By Alisha Jackson

Aside from their surprise benefit concert for the Ovation Music Fund earlier this year, the Foo Fighters have been on an indefinite hiatus since last November.

Last week, we were excited to learn that the band will be ending their hiatus on February 10th in order to to celebrate another charitable event — Tom Petty’s MusiCares Person of the Year gala. And it sounds like the break from their break may be permanent this time.

The Foo Fighters may continue their hiatus following the gala, but not for long. The band’s newly launched FooFightersPassport.com website features a clickable passport, which leads to purchase information for their performance at the NOS Alive festival in Lisbon, Portugal, on July 7th.

The band’s website also features a map of Europe in the background, which has fans optimistically speculating that more shows will be added.
