Keith Richards, Robert Plant, Ringo Starr, Peter Gabriel, Brian Wilson, Sting, Iggy Pop and other music legends have teamed up for We Are Not Afraid, a campaign to support the welfare of global refugees.
Robert De Niro, Susan Sarandon, Yoko Ono, Elvis Costello, Debbie Harry, My Morning Jacket, Wilco, Nile Rodgers, Buddy Guy, Queen’s Brian May and Bonnie Raitt also appear in the video, expressing compassion for victims of political oppression and displacement.
“The idea for We Are Not Afraid resulted from the increasing senseless violence experienced by citizens of this world and a desire to try and make a difference by bringing awareness to the issues and the organizations dedicated to helping the victims,” campaign creator Steve Weitzman wrote.
