The 30 second snippet of the song is an intense thrasher. “Crucify and witness, circling the sun / bastardizing ruin, what have you become / blame the world and blame your maker / push ’em to the undertaker, crown yourself the other savior / so you carry on,” James Hetfield sings in the portion Metallica shared.

“Atlas, Rise!” will be over six minutes long, and those interested in hearing it early on Monday can visit their local record store. Metallica made Halloween masks, which are free and provide a download code to hear the track 30 minutes before its official release time. The rest of the world can wait until 3pm EST, when the track officially becomes available to stream and download.

“Atlas, Rise!” appears on Metallica’s upcoming album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct. That album drops November 18th.
