Desiigner Booed at 76ers Game in Philadelphia

The rapper's performance met a hostile reception in Philadelphia.

Desiigner played for a tough crowd at the Philadelphia 76ers season tip-off game versus the Oklahoma City Thunder. The stadium of fans were not-so-impressed with his halftime set, which came during a nailbiter that saw Philly losing to Oklahoma City by 6 points. The unwelcome reception to his music suggests that the 76ers weren’t the only folks in the stadium who were off their game last night.

A local reporter wrote “Awful halftime performance by Desiigner. Booed off the court with his jeans down to his ankles & he ripped his shirt off.”

It was a tense night in Philadelphia—even Russell Westbrook (point guard for the Thunder) got a nasty reception from a Philadelphia fan, who was ejected for his behavior.
