Rolling Stones vocalist Mick Jagger is speechless — for the time being. The rock icon revealed on Twitter that he’s suffering from “bad laryngitis” and as a result the band’s concert tonight (Oct. 19) in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena has been canceled.

Jagger was ordered by doctors to rest his voice, reports Billboard. “We hope to have information about the possibility of rescheduling this date very soon,” the band said in a statement.

For now, the Rolling Stones Las Vegas show for October 22 is still on. Earlier this month Rolling Stones headlined both weekends of the Desert Trip festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. By the end of their set last weekend Jagger’s voice cracked when he spoke between songs.

The first Rolling Stones album in more than a decade, Blue & Lonesome, comes out December 2.
