Got $80,000? Justin Bieber’s Used Milk Glass Can be Yours!

All that filmy, rotting goodness can be yours for no less than $81,000.

When it comes to memorabilia, smart investors look to buy low and sell high—it’s hard to imagine stooping any lower than buying (or selling, for that matter) an unwashed glass that most recently graced the lips of Justin Bieber. If that wasn’t enough to hook your attention, the vessel didn’t hold something sanitary like water or a dry martini. Last Thursday, Bieber was pictured drinking milk—dairy, from a cow—out of the restaurant glassware. All that filmy, rotting goodness can be yours for no less than $81,000.

First some backstory: On Bieber’s UK trip, he dined at the King’s Oak Hotel in Essex, where an enterprising employee snatched the cup to sell on eBay. He or she told the full, brief story on the item’s product listing:

“I work at the kings oak hotel where Justin Bieber was seen yesterday having dinner and we kept his milk glass. It hasn’t been washed!”

It’s really that simple. The leading bid (at press time, but the day is young) stands at £65,900.00 or $80,906.09. There are three days left on the auction clock so bookmark this page and see how strong the pound looks come Friday morning. If you’re on the fence, call your mom and ask how she’d value the Donnie Osmond hairbrush she splurged on in 1976. Like any commodity, it’s important to account for depreciation.
