Despite getting the word out online, Paul McCartney decided to sell tickets to his show the old-fashioned way. “Tickets go on-sale exclusively through Pappy Harriet’s box office only at 6:30pm, with no line-ups permitted prior to 3:00pm,” the announcement on his official website read. “Tickets will be limited to one per person, and are first come, first served. You will need to enter the venue immediately upon the purchase of your ticket. There will be a strict no readmittance policy. All tickets are CASH ONLY, and will be priced at $50 (including taxes and fees).”

According to Setlist FM, McCartney and his band ended up playing a 21-song set, which was packed with Beatles songs. After closing out the gig with “Hey Jude,” McCartney returned the stage for an encore performance of the Wings song “Hi, Hi, Hi,” and the Beatles classics, ‘Birthday” and “I Saw Her Standing There.” Watch McCartney perform “Hard Days Night” below.

This isn’t the first time the little club in the middle of a California Ghost Town has played host to a major band. Coachella promoter Goldenvoice often coordinates massive headlining bands to play the tiny club during the weekdays between the dual Coachella weekends.
