On this week’s episode of Loveline with Amber Rose (part of CBS Radio’s Play.it podcast network), Amber Rose and Dr. Chris Donaghue discussed the recently aired eleven year old tapes of Donald Trump discussing… well, you’ve probably read about it. Amber not only had a problem with the comments, but also with the the fact that Trump chalked up the comments to “locker room talk.”
“I feel like, and this is definitely not me sticking up for Donald Trump at all,” Amber started. “I do feel like, based on his age, where he came from, the fact that he grew up with a lot of money and a lot of entitlement, that’s probably all he knows. White privileged and older. He’s rich as f—, ‘I can touch whoever’s pussy I want, I’m Donald Trump. Who the hell is ever going to say no?’”
Amber wondered what she would have done had she been in the position of Nancy O’Dell, the woman being discussed. As she pointed out, many acts of sexual assault go unreported each year because victims are afraid to speak out and face ridicule.
“I feel like if Donald Trump, before I became an activist, came and touched my vagina, I would be scared to tell someone, I would be terrified,” she commented. “I would be like, ‘Donald Trump just touched my vagina, who the f– do I call?’ ‘Do I call 9-1-1?’ ‘Do I call the cop that lives in my neighborhood?’ ‘Who do I contact?’ ‘Do I get online and put it on Twitter?’ ‘What do I do and how do I go about it where people wouldn’t say ‘You’re f– lying. Donald Trump is a millionaire, he doesn’t have to touch your vagina, he could f– whoever he wants.””
She also discussed Trump’s stunt of bringing women who accused Bill Clinton of sexual harassment to the last debate. “He’s basically insinuating that [Bill] Clinton has sexually assaulted women,” she commented. “There’s a few women that came out saying that Clinton sexually assaulted them as well. Donald Trump even had them at the debate… basically saying Hillary knows about it and called them tramps after her husband did that to them which is slut shaming and victim blaming at the same time.”
Amber isn’t sold on either candidate though she maintained that she supports Clinton at the end of the day. She said she would be upset with Clinton if the comments about her slut shaming and victim blaming the women who accused her husband of sexual assault turned out to be true.
Amber called out for a movement naming it “Vaginas Against Trump,” and stating that she would love to see Hillary Clinton reach out to Monica Lewinsky and make peace.
“Vaginas Against Trump,” she emphatically exclaimed. “Absof—inglutely, vaginas against Trump. You know what I really want Hillary to do? I would like Hillary to bring Monica Lewinsky out and say Monica, ‘You were 21 years old, or somewhere around there, you were dealing with the most powerful man in the world at that time and I just want to let you know that I forgive you and moving forward, 20 years later, I’m sorry that you had to go through that and that we had to go through that. I just want to make peace with you and move on with our lives as two grown women now… That would be f—ing revolutionary.”
