He said on Instagram, “You can call it my first single, but I call it the invitation to the party.” That party, the singer’s first since releasing his 2012 album Unorthodox Jukebox, promises to have some fun features. Skrillex has already shared that he appears on the album, which got us wondering–wishing, more like–about other names we’d like to see collaborate with Mars. Here are three artists Mr. Uptown Funk should include on his new album.

The two already had one heck of a collaboration at the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime Show when they crashed Coldplay’s performance and cranked the moment up to eleven. His album would be the perfect setting to show off what they can really do together. Between her vocal skills and his inventive pop mind, this would be a surefire hit, whether it’s radio play, streaming or downloads. Plus, can you even imagine the music video?

Stevie Wonder

Mars already has a Wonder-esque quality about him thanks to his vocal stylings, so getting the two together for a duet–whether that’s an up-tempo number or a ballad of sorts–would be a no brainer. Clever Internet editors have already mashed up “Uptown Funk” with Wonder’s single “Superstitious,” so now the two should really get together and create an original track for hungry listeners.

If there’s one artist who could reunite Outkast for a featured verse (or two) on a funk-heavy song, it’s Bruno Mars. We’re not saying he has any kind of inside pull with Andre 3000 and Big Boi, but all three of them have the kind of creative flare and individuality that would partner well in the studio. With Outkast putting a little southern “stank” on one of Mars’ tracks, this would be one for the memory books.
