Jennifer Lopez surprised the audience gathered at Radio City Music Hall to hear her ex-husband Mark Anthony perform Saturday evening (August 27). Anthony is currently on tour, and the two showed that even though they split five years ago there’s no bad blood. They sang Lopez’s 1999 single “No Me Ames” featuring Anthony. The song originally appeared on her debut studio album On the 6.
Rather than a moving song about love, “No Me Ames” translates to “Don’t Love Me,” which seems like a fitting number for exes to perform. Lopez and Anthony divorced in 2011, but have remained amicable as their time onstage showed. Lopez was all smiles as she dueted with her ex-husband, and the two hugged at the end of their song as Anthony graciously told the crowd, “The queen!”
Afterwards, J.Lo shared a photo of the two onstage together and captioned it, “sharing the stage w this one… @marcanthony #NoMeAmes#radiocitymusichall #familia.” And Anthony shared a picture posing with Lopez and their kids. “#MiGente, thank you to the fans and @jlo for a wonderful concert. #AllAboutFamily backstage last night at@radiocitymusichall” he wrote.
