Jay Z doesn’t use social media to air his grievances. Like many an old school rapper, he uses his rhymes to begin and fuel any ongoing beefs. Thanks to his beef with Nas, which began in the late 90s and lasted for a decade, Jay Z has been trading barbs with Fat Joe for a while now. But it looks as though the two have put aside their differences and it’s all thanks to Beyoncé.

In April, Fat Joe spoke about the beef between Nas and Jay Z with This is 50. Their fight forced him to choose a side, and he went with Nas. “[T]he moral to the story is that there was bad blood between Roc-A-Fella and Terror Squad for a long time and the next thing I know I seen Nas with Jay Z and there was peace,” he explained. “But it left me in the outskirts. He didn’t pick up the phone like, ‘Yo, I’m about to squash this.’ I would’ve told him go get money. I’m all about getting money, so I would’ve told him go get money. Now me and these n—– got beef because I was repping you hard.”
It looks like Fat Joe is no longer on the outskirts, though. He and Jay Z posed for a photo during Beyoncé’s Formation Tour stop in Los Angeles, which he shared on Instagram.
It’s just more Beyoncé magic as the Formation Tour heals old wounds.
