Publisher Simon and Schuster’s upcoming Taylor Swift book isn’t your by-the-numbers celebrity tribute.
To create the tome, publishers have crowdsourced various aspects of the book’s writing, branding and compilation. Winners were just announced for the book’s title and “honorary author” and the book’s fan-selected title.
Texan fan Tenay Barker won the title selection contest and $2,500 with her submission, Taylor Swift: This Is Our Song. Meanwhile, YouTube Swift parody king of note Tyler Conroy of Massachusetts won $10,000 and credit as the book’s “honorary author.”
The work (and crowdsourcing) isn’t finished, though—Swift fans can apply to contribute editing and advisory support to the book for credit and $500 apiece.
The book will commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Taylor Swift’s first album release. You can see all info and order your copy here.
