The Band Perry Announce New Single ‘Live Forever’

By Radio.com Staff

Today The Band Perry announced “Live Forever,” which is the first single from their forthcoming album. The track, produced by RedOne and Dann Huff. Does this information coupled with the band’s new press shots (above) signal a shift in musical direction?

Radio.com caught up with the band this spring and they were excited about having worked with Pharrell:

“We’re being really crazy about the different collaborations that we’re diving into,” Kimberly Perry said. “We got to hang out with Pharrell a couple weeks ago. He’s like a huge country music fan, and he also really loves what we do with harmony. One thing that we worked on with him was this song where all three of us sing different interwoven vocals on the verse and on the chorus.”

The band weighed in on what fans cans expect for the new single:

“‘Live Forever’ is the best first look into our new album,” said Kimberly Perry. “It emotionally sums up everything we’ve been feeling creating this new collection of songs – empowered and electrified.”

“Every time I hear the chorus of ‘Live Forever,’ I can’t help but put my hands up in the air,” said Reid Perry. “It’s one of those songs that, after listening to it, makes you feel like you can conquer the world.”
