Major brands attempting to be “down with the kids” on social media is nothing new. An entire Twitter account was set up just to call out corporations for using terms like “bae,” with a healthy dose of “on fleek,” “thirsty” and more sprinkled in for good measure.
IHOP has been a repeat offender on all counts, and it seems that none less than Nicki Minaj herself has simply had enough of it.
The “Feeling Myself” rapper fired off at icy tweet in the pancake restaurant’s direction after their social media director issued a tweet appropriating Rae Sremmurd’s hit “No Type” for the company’s flapjack-selling ends.
I ain't got no type. Pancakes are the only thing that I like.—

Minaj, who’s worked with young rap duo on the song, “Throw Sum Mo,” clapped back at IHOP letting it be known that she feels it time they take a row of seats and sit down.
The irate tweet response comes just hours after Minaj released the lyric video to her latest hit single, “Truffle Butter,” which features appearances from the dynamic duo of Drake and the recently-swatted Lil Wayne.
