Iggy Azalea isn’t very coy about her newfound success.
After releasing “Iggy SZN” (that’s pronounced season), the Aussie rapper has now shared another braggadociously titled track.
“Beg For It” also comes from Azalea’s upcoming reboot of her debut album, re-dubbed Reclassified, as its debut single. On the song, she sticks to the “Fancy” formula that brought her all the way to the top of the charts, this time recruiting another pop import, the Diplo-mentored Danish singer Mø.
The pair trades verses — with Mø singing the hook — over a percolating beat produced by The Invisible Men, with Azalea dropping these particularly headstrong lines: “That everybody wanna put their hands on me/ See I be on this money why your man on me/ And I need another hand with all these bandz on me.”
For the visuals, will Iggy and Mø go for a themed route similar to “Fancy” and “Black Widow?” We’ll know soon.
This weekend, Azalea is the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, marking the live TV debut of the song. She’s also performing tonight (Oct. 24) at We Can Survive in Hollywood, Calif.
Reclassified also features collaborations between Azalea and Jennifer Hudson and Ellie Goulding. It’s out Nov. 24.
