While her rabid fan base had no problem rocketing Taylor Swift‘s latest single, “Out of the Woods,” straight to the top of the iTunes charts, the singer herself had some trouble accessing the tune, which she wrote with fun. member and Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff.
Swift took to Twitter last night (Oct. 13) to share a text conversation with Antonoff on how exactly to download the new tune to her phone, a perk of having already pre-ordered Swift’s upcoming full-length, 1989, scheduled for release on Oct. 27.
It’s the kind of adorable pop star exchange that fans dream of.
It was also a sly, smart (albeit admittedly cute) way for Swift to show her followers exactly how to access the new tune while gently encouraging them to take part in the album pre-order, if they hadn’t already.

She jumped over to Instagram to divulge even more of her text exchange with Antonoff, who revealed that he nearly crashed into walls and fell over from excitement when listening to the song while simultaneously walking girlfriend Lena Dunham’s dog, Lamby. For her part, Swift’s enthusiasm for the track was enough that it made her sweat.
While the T. Swift Nation anxiously awaits the announcement of 1989 tour dates, she’ll be headlining next week’s “We Can Survive” benefit concert at the iconic Hollywood Bowl alongside such fellow superstars as Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams, Iggy Azalea and more. The show will be held Oct. 24.
