You ever wonder what happened to the Major Lazer cartoon that was supposed to air on Adult Swim?

Well, we don’t know. But we do know it will be now aired by Fox in 2015, according to Billboard from their cover story on Diplo.

The animated program will follow what is being described as a “Rasta superhero” and is set to feature original music that includes collaborations with Riff Raff and Cat Power.

The cartoon will be launched with the third Major Lazer album, a follow-up to 2013’s Free the Universe, for which Diplo has already 30 songs in the works.

The exact dates of both the cartoon and new album have yet to be revealed, but 2015 isn’t far away and getting excited would seem appropriate.

In other Diplo news, the producer is also working on new music with Ty Dolla $ign and Lorde, and is currently on tour with his Mad Decent Block Party.
