Lil Wayne‘s Carter V is really coming this time.

So much so that it now has a release date.

The rapper made the announcement that Carter V will hit stores Oct. 28 this morning (Aug. 14), XXL reports. Wayne showed up on ESPN’s First Take to confirm the news.

He’ll reportedly also reveal the album artwork later today, also on ESPN — SportsCenter, in this case. (Update: It’s out, see below.)

The news comes shortly after a new single from Carter V hit the Internet. “Grindin,” featuring Drake, was released last Friday, Aug. 8.

The rapper is currently paired with Drake on a joint tour that runs through the fall. Chances are plenty of new music will be revealed on the cross-country jaunt, especially with a release date for the album in place.

A tracklist has not been announced.
