Miley Cyrus Spoofed ‘Anaconda’ Artwork — And Nicki Minaj Isn’t Happy
By Marissa G. Muller
Since her eye-popping, insta-meme artwork for “Anaconda” first emerged, Nicki Minaj has been a good sport about all of the spoofs it inspired — that is, until now.
There’s one photoshopped parody that Minaj isn’t having and it includes Miley Cyrus.
Over the weekend, the provocative pop singer posted a few different spoofs of the cover with her face in place of Nicki’s. One even cleverly combined “Anaconda” with Cyrus’ former alter-ego Hannah Montana, dubbed “Hannah-conda.”
That prompted Minaj to repost one of them along with the shade-throwing caption: “Give me one good reason why Miley made this her twitter avi. #AnacondaOniTunes.”
But, as we all know, a little bad press has never stopped Miley from doing her thing. Shortly after Minaj called her out, Miley posted another “Anaconda” spoof with a plug to vote for her at the VMAs.
It will be interesting, to say the least, if the pair end up running into each other at the awards show.
“Anaconda” was released last week, with a music video coming soon.
