Robert Plant Announces 2014 Fall Tour Dates Behind New Album

Robert Plant and co. are going on a tour to support his new album, out next month.

Plant and his backing band, the Sensational Space Shifters, announced today (Aug. 7) the tour, which will find Plant trek across North America for seven total tour dates starting in late September.

The tour will kick off Sept. 25 in Port Chester, N.Y., at the Capitol Theatre, with two dates in Brooklyn, plus shows in Toronto, Chicago and Denver.

Currently, the dates are set to conclude Oct. 7 with a show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

The duo of tour dates in Brooklyn will be held as part of Nonesuch Records’ 50th anniversary concerts, Sept. 27-28.

The tour is surrounding the release of Plant’s new album, lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar, an 11-track record due out Sept. 9. Already one track, “Rainbow,” has been previewed.
