Busta Rhymes and The Conglomerate have dropped a fat collection of 19 originals and remixes, featuring major names and newcomers alike, for a new mixtape, Catastrophic 2.

Some of the biggest hits of the year, by the likes of Chris Brown, Rae Sremmurd, K. Camp, Wiz Khalifa, Schoolboy Q, Migos, Usher and Rich Homie Quan, receive remixes from Busta and his affiliates, including O.T. Genasis and Chinx Drugz.

Of particular note is Busta and Azealia Banks‘ remix of “Partition,” which trades in Beyonce’s luxurious lovemaking for something grittier; you probably wouldn’t hear Queen B talking about “swallowing seed,” as Busta phrases it. Banks jumps in the drivers seat and unleashes a fast-paced barrage of guttural bars, another counterpoint to the original’s silky sheen.

Another intriguing point is the “Hot N***a” interlude, which finds Busta rhyming a few verses over the Jahlil Beats instrumental before cutting himself off, telling us we’ll have to wait a while for the official remix to drop. I guess we know where Bobby Shmurda‘s hat went: Busta’s wearing it now, probably while driving the Swagger Wagon.

Watch out for his forthcoming E.L.E.2 (Extinction Level Event 2) sometime this year.
