Last weekend (Aug. 2-3), Chicago DJ squad Flosstradamus rocked the HARD Summer music festival with their signature mix of high-energy EDM, hip-hop and trap. Today, the PLURNT crew has turned down significantly for the slinky and sensual new track, “Rebound,” featuring the vocals of Elkka.

“‘Rebound’ is a departure from the normal maximal trap sound we pioneered,” member Josh Young said in a press release. “We felt that after ‘Mosh Pit’ and ‘TTU’ with Waka we wanted to make a song that sounded like something we listen to at the crib, or in the car on the way home from a show. Curt (Cameruci) and I are both fans of mellow, downtempo music, and this is our nod to that world. This is an exciting step in a new, more mature direction for us.” Listen to the track below.

“Rebound” was released as part of a new 20-track Flosstradamus playlist that features a mix of the duo’s tunes with remixes for the likes of Baauer and Lunice. Listen to it here.

Flosstradamus’ North American tour rolls on through the summer, with upcoming dates in Brooklyn (Aug. 9), Las Vegas (Aug. 17) and New Orleans (Aug. 29).
