Dillon Francis Teams with Sultan + Ned Shepard, Chain Gang of 1974 for ‘When We Were Young’: Listen

Dillon Francis has debuted a new song — and released a corresponding lyric video — for a song from his forthcoming album Money Sucks, Friends Rule.

The track, titled “When We Were Young,” features Canadian electronic duo Sultan + Ned Shepard and indie electro act The Chain Gang of 1974.

“I called my manager one day, and I was like, ‘I want to make a shirt that says ‘money sucks, friends rule’ in the Warriors font,” Dillon said in an interview with Radio.com at Coachella. “I was like, ‘that’s the best title for an album.’ Because I really feel that way. Friends are forever. Money isn’t.”


Francis will tour the US and Canada through August and September, those dates are below.
