Dillon Francis Teams with Sultan + Ned Shepard, Chain Gang of 1974 for ‘When We Were Young’: Listen

Dillon Francis has debuted a new song — and released a corresponding lyric video — for a song from his forthcoming album Money Sucks, Friends Rule.

The track, titled “When We Were Young,” features Canadian electronic duo Sultan + Ned Shepard and indie electro act The Chain Gang of 1974.

“I called my manager one day, and I was like, ‘I want to make a shirt that says ‘money sucks, friends rule’ in the Warriors font,” Dillon said in an interview with at Coachella. “I was like, ‘that’s the best title for an album.’ Because I really feel that way. Friends are forever. Money isn’t.”


Francis will tour the US and Canada through August and September, those dates are below.
