Mom Shows the Key to Parenting is Playing Katy Perry’s ‘Dark Horse': Watch

Are you a parent who has trouble getting your toddler or infant to stop crying in the car? A solution to your troubles is coming at you like a… well, you know.
In a YouTube video posted yesterday (Aug. 4), a mom, Eva Baker, shows in a 38-second clip how she gets her daughter to stop fussing — by playing her Katy Perry‘s “Dark Horse.”
Be warned that this isn’t like countless other videos, where a baby suddenly becomes calm and maybe sings along a bit to the song in question but little else. This baby’s shift is from sadness to ABSOLUTE TURNT UP GLEE in the course of about a second.
No, really. Look at that face. Look at her flailing arms. “Dark Horse” is this kid’s jam and she will not be denied.
Since its posting Aug. 4, the video has already scored nearly a million views. That’s due in no small part to Perry herself, who tweeted the video early this morning.
