Chris Brown’s ‘X’ Finally Coming Out in September

By Kevin Rutherford

Chris Brown’s oft-delayed X finally has a release date — and it’s soon. Very soon.

The singer’s sixth studio album will hit stores Sept. 16, Rap-Up reports.

Brown announced the news on his Instagram page with what may or may not be the album’s cover, featuring a black and white photo of Brown exhaling smoke with a large red x over the picture.

The album will mark Brown’s first LP since his release from jail in spring.

Due to its already long history, multiple singles have already been released from X, including “Fine China,” “Love More,” “Loyal” and “New Flame.” The latter will have a music video, which is coming soon, according to a post a few days before on Brown’s Instagram.

A track list for X has not been revealed.
