Elton John thinks “Tracks of My Tears” is the greatest pop song ever written. Lucky for him, he’s on a new duet of the song with the man behind the hit, Smokey Robinson.

The former member of the Miracles and solo artist, Robinson will release an album with 11 of his hits on Aug. 19. This time around though, the songs are recorded as duets with the voices of John Legend, Steven Tyler, Cee Lo Green, James Taylor and Mary J. Blige.

According to Rolling Stone, “My Girl” features new vocals from Miguel, Aloe Blacc and JC Chasez as well as guitar playing from John Mayer.

Rolling Stone just premiered Robinson’s duet with Elton John. In an interview promoting the album, John explained how he was first introduced to the soul singer.

“Smokey Robinson first came into my life when I was a teenager collecting soul records,” John said. “I never thought when I was collecting those records that one day I might even perform with him on stage or make a duet with him. That’s something you don’t even dream of when you’re that young. He had the most amazing voice. His lyrics always struck me.”
