Watch Linkin Park Perform ‘Until It’s Gone’ at First mtvU Fandom Awards

By Jay Tilles

Capitalizing on the throngs of youth circling the San Diego Convention Center and Gas Lamp District for Comic Con, MTV partnered with Linkin Park last Friday (July 25) to headline the network’s first ever mtvU Fandom Awards.

The LA band performed to a Petco Park crowded with costumed characters honoring their favorite TV, film and comic characters, all while giant carnival rides twirled in the amusement park area. Linkin Park took the opportunity to play cuts from their latest album The Hunting Party as well as a few classics.

The roughly 30-minute set included “Given Up,” “Points of Authority,” “The Catalyst,” “Guilty all the Same,” “Wastelands,” “Until It’s Gone,” “Faint,” and “One Step Closer.” (Watch “Guilty All The Same and “Wastelands” below.)

Meanwhile, Linkin Park will head out with Thirty Seconds to Mars and AFI on the 25-stop Carnivores Tour kicking off August 8 at Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, FL.
