The latter revealed the news in an Instagram post, noting that the movie will come out next year — in fact, in just a few short months.

“Pt. 2. Comin Jan. 2015!” he added in the photo’s caption.

Currently, there’s no word on a specific release date other than the month of January and whether or not the sequel will simply follow up the original in terms of plot. Its predecessor featured the rappers as high school students who just like to get high.

“Young, Wild and Free,” the main song from the album’s Khalifa and Snoop-penned soundtrack, hit No. 7 in the U.S.

The original was a direct-to-DVD release.

Khalifa’s Blacc Hollywood is due out Aug. 19.
