Jessie Ware Announces New Album Title, Cover Art

By Philip Cosores

Jessie Ware might not be the champion at naming albums, but she is undefeated when it comes to loading her albums with smart, addictive pop that doesn’t sacrifice any bit of accessibility to seem a level of maturity above her competitors.

That said, Ware took to her Instagram to share her new album’s title and cover. Yeah, the first single turns out to be the title track, with Tough Love following up Devotion, her acclaimed debut. Sure, the sentiments may be a little vague and all-encompassing, but Ware’s music is vivid enough to make these irrelevant.

The album will be released on Island/Cherry Tree and is expected to feature guests Ed Sheeran, Drake, Nineteen85, and Miguel.

Production is anticipated from BenZel (Two Inch Punch and Benny Blanco), Julio Bashmore, The Invisible’s Dave Okumu, and Kid Harpoon, according to Consequence of Sound.

Tough Love should see release before the end of the year.
