Strange Desire, the upcoming debut album from Bleachers – the solo project of fun.‘s Jack Antonoff – features two impressive guest spots in Grimes and Yoko Ono.

Now, ahead of its July 15 release, the first collaborative track with Grimes has been unveiled.

“Take Me Away” sees the pair trading off croons in the delicately layered vocal style that Grimes established with her debut album Visions.

Instrumentally, the balmy slow-burner consists of a few simple piano chords that build up to an off-kilter rhythm — but just when the track feels like its hitting its stride, it abruptly ends. Clocking in at only two-and-a-half minutes, the track seems like it could have been stretched a little longer.

Antonoff and Grimes might seem like an unlikely match but they actually make a good musical pairing. Plus, with Grimes wanting to venture into mainstream pop songwriting and Antonoff looking for validation in indie circles, they’re the perfect wingman for each other.

Strange Desire is due out July 15.
