Earl Sweatshirt Cancels Tour Due to Exhaustion

By Philip Cosores

Odd Future member and rising solo rapper Earl Sweatshirt has been tirelessly touring for more than a year, including an long lead up to his major label debut, Doris, and the support of the August 2013 release. Tirelessly… that is, until now.

Earl took to Twitter today to announce the cancellation of his remaining tour dates, which include appearances at the upcoming Pemberton Music Festival and the Splash Music Festival.

The tour had only a couple weeks remaining, and would have taken the young star around the world in that time, but his “exhaustion” and desire to put on the best show he can will prevent him from completing this itinerary.

Earl does have one date scheduled well after the tour was slated to end, at L.A.’s FYF Festival, which is unclear at this time whether it will be scrapped or continue as scheduled.
