Parmalee show their idea of a perfect Fourth of July in their new video for “Close Your Eyes.”
Who doesn’t want to revert back to their childhood with a homemade backwoods Slip N Slide? How about something better: a glow-in-the-dark version where you paint yourself and are the light to the Slip N Slide as night approaches.
Their new video was directed by Wes Edwards (“Drunk On A Plane,” “Night Train,” “Yeah,”) and showcases Parmalee prepping for a late night outdoor performance at a bonfire party.
“It’s all about that first kiss,” says Matt Thomas, lead singer for Parmalee, about the song in a press release. “ I think everybody remembers where they were with that special girl or guy and they went in for that first kiss.”
“Close Your Eyes” is the follow-up release to Parmalee’s previous smash, “Carolina” off the band’s debut album Feels Like Carolina.
