Watch the ‘Freak’ Video from Diplo, Steve Aoki & Deorro, Where Nothing is As It Seems

By Kevin Rutherford

Diplo, Steve Aoki and Deorro‘s new video is safe for work. No, really. It may not look like it at first, but it is.

The first half of the video for “Freak,” featuring Steve Bays, features different people in suggestive poses — whether it’s via their hand motions, poses or otherwise. It seems like it’s building up to a totally NSFW premise, but the way each scene is shot keeps much of what’s happening a mystery.

But as with many great videos, the payoff comes toward the end.

It’s revealed later that every visual that seemed suggestive was anything but, like an eye trick — from a woman simply using glue to do some home improvement to another jumping on a trampoline.

There’s also a man simply trying to open his gym locker and another smacking a TV to try to get it to regain reception — again, nothing too racy, but you should have seen the first half.

However, just when you think you have it figured out — well, stay to the end.
