Deadmau5 is having quite a time putting his Nyan Cat-themed Purrari up for sale.
After complaining on Twitter about not being allowed to set up an ebay account, the “Phantoms Can’t Hang” producer was eventually able to list the customized Ferrari for sale on Craiglist for $380,000 or best offer, with any money over the original asking price earmarked for the Toronto Humane Society.
Deadmau5’s joy was short-lived, however, when Craigslist mysteriously deleted the listing, a move he did not take kindly.
Someone over at the website Auto Trader (presumably a fan) was watching all of this unfold, and reached out to Deadmau5 on Twitter to help him put the car back on the open market. Soon, the “Purrari” was again listed for sale.

Deadmau5 was excited enough to post a video of himself behind the wheel of the car and reaching speeds of up to 168 mph on a motor speedway.
The new Deadmau5 double-album, While (1<2), hit digital retailers this week (June 17). He’s in the planning stages of an extensive tour that he recently told BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe will be “bigger than Bon Jovi.”
