EDM superstar Deadmau5 has generated all sorts of attention and headlines with his heavily customized Ferrari, which he’s deemed a Purrari due to the car’s Nyan Cat-themed exterior.
Now, the “Phantoms Can’t Hang” producer is selling the car off via the website Craigslist for $380,000 or best offer, with any money above the original asking price going to the Toronto Humane Society.
The winning purchaser will also receive additional Deadmau5-releated perks, including an Ipod of “Nyancat songs,” as well as an open invitation to Toronto to film a special “Farewell Purrari” edition of the DJ’s famous “coffee run” videos that have found him hitting the local Tim Horton’s donut shop with the likes of Zedd, Dillon Francis, Skrillex and more.
He adds that the car can be fully factory restored, as in having the colorful Nyan Cat wrap removed — “if you’re a p—y.” The car has 6,500 miles on it and can be shipped anywhere in North America.
Deadmau5 recently raced the car in the Gumball Rally 3000, where he competed against the likes of David Hasselhoff and rapper Xzibit.
The producer’s new double-album, While (1<2), is set for digital release tomorrow (June 17). Physical and streaming versions will be available on June 24.
