Robin Thicke Actually Named His New Album After His Estranged Wife
By Courtney E. Smith
The struggle continues for Robin Thicke, whose latest romantic gesture meant to prove he is serious about getting his woman back has been revealed.
Thicke confirmed the news this morning on The Steve Harvey Show.
This follows his debut of the single “Get Her Back” on the Billboard Music Awards in May. Before that, he’d been dedicating songs to her from his concerts, including the single “Lost Without U,” the video for the song featuring Patton.
The pair separated in February. They have one child and had been married for nine years.
In the June 2014 issue of Vanity Fair, Patton told the magazine, “We’ve known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there’s a deep love there — always was, and always will be.”
Thicke is expected to perform more new music on the BET Awards, airing on June 29.
