Sam Smith finally comes to the United States with a full-length album next month, and come September, he’ll be hitting the road to support it.
The singer announced today (May 27) a quick U.S. tour behind In the Lonely Hour, Consequence of Sound reports. After hitting multiple dates in Europe and Australia, he’ll travel to North America for 16 dates in the fall.
Smith’s run of tour dates will kick off Sept. 15 at the House of Blues in Boston, with shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom and Toronto’s Kool Haus.
Before he heads back to the U.K., Smith will play both weekends of this year’s Austin City Limits Festival, the second — Oct. 10 — his final set on the North American tour.
He’ll also stop over next month for a set at Bonnaroo.
In the Lonely Hour is already out in Smith’s native U.K., with a U.S. release set for June 17. The album features “Leave Your Lover,” which spawned a music video last week.
