Pearl Jam have already announced a headlining set at the Austin City Limits Festival in October, and it turns out Texas isn’t the only place U.S. audiences can see the band that month.
The rockers have announced a quick, down-and-dirty U.S. tour this October. The 10-date jaunt will wrap around two different sets at the ACL festival, which runs two weekends in 2014.
Kicking off the tour Oct. 1 at Cincinnati, Ohio’s US Bank Arena, Pearl Jam will travel down south to Austin and stick around the West before heading back to the Midwest for shows in Illinois and Michigan.
The tour hits its end Oct. 22 in Denver, Colorado, at the Pepsi Arena.
Public tickets go on sale for the tour May 30.
Pearl Jam continues to tour behind Lightning Bolt, the band’s 10th studio album — in fact, the halfway point of the tour will mark the one-year anniversary of the record, which topped the Billboard 200 upon its release.
Frontman Eddie Vedder has stayed on the road, recently hitting up South America for a solo tour. At one particular show in Brazil, he debuted a new song, which is currently untitled but has been dubbed “I Won’t Hold On” by fans.
