Just because an artist is considered legendary doesn’t mean they always top the charts or sell a ton of records (and, of course, vice-versa). But it’s still surprising to learn that an artist of Dolly Parton’s stature hasn’t always reached the Top Ten during her long and successful career.

This week, however, she did. The Country Music Hall of Famer’s latest album Blue Smoke (released May 13) reached the No. 2 position on the Billboard Country Albums chart and No. 6 on the Billboard 200. It’s the highest any of her albums have reached to date on the latter chart, which tracks sales for releases in all genres.

“I am glad that people are enjoying the music from my new Blue Smoke album,” Parton said in a press statement. “It feels great to be in the Top 10. It’s always an honor to know the fans spend their hard earned money on my music. Thanks everybody!”

Parton’s only made it to the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 once before, with Trio, her 1987 collaboration with Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt (her 1981 album 9 to 5 and Odd Jobs made it to No. 11). She has, though, topped the Top Country Albums chart six times before. And when it comes to country singles, she’s reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart 25 times for tracks such as “Joshua,” “The Bargain Store,” “Jolene,” “I Will Always Love You” and “Here You Come Again.”
