By Kevin Rutherford

It’s only May, but Seth MacFarlane is getting in the Christmas spirit.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, MacFarlane is prepping his first holiday-themed record, following the release of his debut, Music is Better Than Words, in 2011.

The currently untitled record will receive guest boosts in the forms of Norah Jones and Sara Bareilles. Jones previously connected with the singer/actor/producer on “Everybody Needs a Best Friend,” from MacFarlane’s 2013 film Ted, which scored an Oscar nomination for best original song.

MacFarlane and co. convened with Joel McNeely, who produced the Family Guy creator’s solo album, and a 52-piece orchestra at London’s Abbey Road Studios.

The album does not currently have a release date, but the goal is to have it out in time for the holiday season this year. The record will be out on Republic Records.
