Deadmau5 Debuts New iPhone-Only App with Unreleased Music, Photos, More

Now that we know Deadmau5 is ready to unleash a brand spanking new double-album on the world next month, he’s got some freshly minted toys for fans to play with in the meantime.

That “toy,” specifically, is a new iPhone app that delivers all things Deadmau5 directly to your trusty Apple device. Android users, however, will be stuck looking on in digital envy.

Those iPhone users who download the Deadmau5 app (and pony up a $4.99 monthly fee) will have access to live video and an audio player that promises unreleased music, photos, videos, chat rooms and message boards, and even the possibility that “Deadmau5 may be contacting you directly by email, phone or text.” Download the app here.

The new Deadmau5 album, while(1<2), is set to hit digital retailers on June 17. Streaming and old-fashioned physical versions will be made available one week later on June 24.
