Ed Sheeran‘s a busy man — and not just because of his upcoming studio album, though that’s certainly a major factor. Even with X on the way, he’s still in the studio recording new material, most recently with two high-profile ladies: Demi Lovato and Hilary Duff.

The British singer-songwriter recently confirmed to Hollywire that he will be collaborating with Demi Lovato in the near future. The hookup follows a Twitter conversation the pair had at the end of April, after which a song between Sheeran and Lovato seemed imminent.

Sheeran has previously recorded and written songs for and with Taylor Swift, Lupe Fiasco, One Direction and, more recently, Rixton, among others.

“Yeah, we’ve been emailing each other so that’s a good step forward,” Sheeran told Hollywire. “I’ll be seeing her at the end of the month.”

But Lovato isn’t the only artist with whom Sheeran’s working. Earlier this morning, he popped up in a Twitter photo with his arm around Hilary Duff in the studio.

“Soooo this happened and was pretty cool,” Duff wrote on her Twitter, noting that she had been recording that night with Sheeran.

Duff has been fairly quiet on the music front for the last few years; her last album, Dignity, came out in 2007. However, she’s been in the studio recording material for a new record, with multiple songs already reportedly in the bag. She also reportedly signed a new record deal at the end of March, though the label that took her on is currently unknown.

Sheeran’s X, his second full-length, comes out June 24. For that album, Sheeran also worked with his share of producers and musicians, including Pharrell for lead single “Sing” and Rick Rubin on “Don’t.”
