Offered for the first time, the red two door convertible was owned by Lady Gaga and used by her publicly to travel to the Guggenheim Museum in September 2012. (see video below)
According to AutoEvolution, the three-speed two-door was purchased by Gaga five years ago and the title is registered to her full name — Stefani Germanotta — and father, Joseph. Valued between $30,000-$50,000, Lady Gaga is offering 100 percent of the sale of the the vehicle to MusiCares, a non-profit providing a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need.
The vehicle will be on display at the Hard Rock May 12 through May 17 prior to the auction. As of press time, a single bid has been submitted for $15,000.
Among the Gaga-owned items being auctioned are a pair of Jean Paul Gaultier sunglasses signed on the lens in silver felt pen, a custom-made crystal-covered silver lamé Versace flight jumpsuit worn by Mother Monster in a Terry Richardson fashion shoot and a black vinyl “Aura” headpiece worn during artRave.
In addition to Gaga’s collectibles, the Julien’s Auction also features a wealth of Michael Jackson and Jackson 5 memorabilia, including apparel, gold records, animation cells and dozens of autographed items.
