They kept it black & white classy in the music video for “I Won” but many are now blasting Future and Kanye West for a video game inspired by the single that depicts women as trophies.

“What u think about my new video game?” Future tweeted out yesterday morning (May 7). The replies from his fans have been mostly positive, but the music press have roundly disagreed. It is a Flash-based game where the user can play the part of Future or Kanye West.

Their objective is to collect as many “trophy wives” as possible by throwing chains at women in bikinis who walk by. When your chain lands on them, the women turn into actual trophies.

It’s in diametric opposition to the actual lyrics of the song, where Future casts himself as the prize trophy in his relationship.

This is not Future’s first single-inspired video game. He released a similar product to accompany his single “Move That Dope” earlier this year.
