Rick Ross appears to be in some legal hot water. The rapper has reportedly been sued over an incident at his birthday party in 2011.
According to Radar Online, the rapper has been slapped with legal action from two people who say his entourage injured them during a brawl at the party, held at New York’s Umbrella Lounge (Ross, 38, has a birthday in January).
The men, Jeison and Edward Soto, both from the Bronx, claim “multiple bodily injuries,” according to court documents. Ross himself is being blamed for starting the fight to begin with and for not hiring sufficiently trained security.
Ross has reportedly not responded to summons over the last year, too. The rapper has not responded to the claims on Twitter.
It isn’t the first time Ross has been involved in a scuffle on his birthday. In 2013, the rapper was involved in a drive-by shooting in Florida during which his car was shot at, causing it to crash into an apartment building, after celebrating his birthday in Miami.
